If you are going to wait for a local store to put their dresses up for sale you will have to be very patient, because it might never happen. However, on the Internet there are always many shops that have sales, either because they are clearing out older merchandise or because they are trying to attract customers like you. You see, the marketplace is much bigger online, and the competition for you cash is stronger than for a local store that has a monopoly on the nearby area or town.
